Shipping Terms and Conditions

Domestic UK Shipping
  • Customer will receive a shipping delivery date and time slot from our selected Carrier.
  • Orders with flammable or hazardous are subject to possible additional shipping and customs charges of which the customer will be notified. In some cases we cannot ship certain hazardous or flammable goods.
  • Upon collection by carrier/customer the items are under their care, GRATICULE forfeits liability for said items to carrier. GRATICULE will assist customers in tracking said items upon request but will not be held responsible. 
  • Additional shipping will sometimes be requested due to changing cost of shipping. This is not compulsory but can be refused with a full refund given.
 
EU & INTERNATIONAL ORDERS
  • Orders posted internationally are subject to possible customs checks and duties which can delay shipment/add additional costs. Duties are the sole responsibility of the recipient/customer. If the customer/recipient does not wish to pay duties GRATICULE will attempt to have the package returned. Upon return of products, if they are in the condition in which they left, a refund will be issued for the cost of the products alone. 
  • Duties can still apply if the consignment has arrived at the country specified for delivery. In this case custom & duty charges can be applied even in the case of a return. These duties will be the sole responsibility of the customer.
  • If you have a preferred courier or would like to arrange a pick-up please notify a member of staff by phone or email.
  • Certain hazardous goods can add additional charges for international orders.

Please note, from 1st July 2021 all items shipped from us, will include the stamp ‘delivered duties unpaid’ (DDU), which means for any international customers you may be responsible for import VAT, customs duties & handling fees before receiving the delivery.

Please consider any extra fee’s you may be charged before placing an order with us and once your order has been shipped please regularly check your emails to avoid missing any additional customs information (as some territories only hold items for a small amount of time before returning to us the sender).
